We are so excited to now be offering scent training workshops and 1-2-1s.
Naomi has obtained her qualification as an Elite Talking Dogs Scentwork® Trainer.
Talking Dogs Scentwork® is a supportive scent training programme that is inclusive for all dogs, regardless of breed.
We can also work with dogs with disabilities, including those that are blind, deaf, or have mobility issues.
We use active indications, which means your dog can eat their “find” instantly or play with their toy as soon as they find it. No training is required for the active indication. You will instantly know that your dog has found its “hide”.
Our workshops and 1-2-1 Scent Training are suitable for puppies from 12 weeks of age and dogs of any age.
Our training centre is wheelchair accessible.
Scent Level 1 Workshops - Dates and Times
Our Scent training workshops are for 3 hours.
With a maximum of 4 dogs in each workshop, this will ensure you all have plenty of time for your searches.
Your dog will be trained to search for the scent of cheese or catnip-infused small toys.
Most dogs will search for cheese, which means the reward is instant. For dogs who prefer to search for food, those who may be lactose intolerant can look for dog pate.
Once you have completed your level 1 workshop, you can progress through all the levels. This will be offered on an invitation-only basis once you have completed level 1.

1-2-1 Scent Training
We can also offer our clients 1-2-1 sessions for scent training.
1-2-1 training can suit some dogs and owners better than group sessions for many reasons. We will also be able to tailor these sessions specifically for each of our clients.
We have availability during the day, some evenings and on Saturdays.
The 1-2-1 sessions can take place at our training centre or at your home.
Sessions will be booked by the hour.
